sIFR Bug on Firefox 3 Fixed

0 comment(s). 01.28.09 - skimmerboi

Man, what am I doing these past 2 months? I was so sidetrack with my super vacation that I forgot to check some updates on my site. I was uploading my latest photos from my long break, I noticed that my block headers were not replaced by flash text, or sIFR was not working. So i tried to check it on other browsers and I found out the my sIFR version(sIFR 2.05) was outdated, immediately, I rushed to the sIFR website and downloaded its updated version which is sIFR 2.07.

As I've went through the post, the version was released last October 2008, ugh, where was I? Anyway, it was stated clearly that "sIFR 2.0 - 2.0.5 failed to detect the Flash 10 player, and therefore falls back to normal HTML text", so that cleared up my mind and the bug was gone. Just check the version you're using, there's an instructions there on how you are going to update you're .js file and .swf file. =)
