I got stuck with work these past few months and haven't had a time for myself, but good thing my dad went to Tacloban City for a seminar, so I went with him but straight to Tanauan instead. When i got off from the van, I was really excited(coz i haven't played skimboarding for 2 years), then I heard the loud sound of waves crushing to the shore. As I got close to the shore, I saw huge swells at the "Oilers Point" and nobody was playing 'cause it was high tide and no space to run. So I just went to some shade and wait the for my local friend, Obet, to come out and taking photos of the waves.

Few hours later, Obet came out, grabbed our skimboards and we transferred to another spot. When we arrived to the spot, he ran and hit the first wave, I was just standing there and watched him cutting back on those waves... he's really good, how I wished I could some of those. Then I grabbed my camera and start shooting, but too bad I didn't get the good ones, but I'll be back.. haha. But as soon as I got couple of shots, I stopped shooting and started to play, and it was really funny, coz I can't get on the board, what I did was just a major wipe out, haha.

Anyway, it was really an interesting day.. I planned to stay there for 4 days but my body got sore, so I went home early. But I'll be back on the competition week, don't know when, but it'll be this summer.
