Cameralabs' preview on Canon EOS 500D

Canon EOS 500D

One of my favorite site to hangout is the cameralabs.com, and to my surprise, they posted a preview for the up coming mid-level DSLR from Canon, the Canon EOS 500D. I just can't wait to check its reviews by Mr. Gordon when it comes out, and its giving me thoughts about trading my current camera, 450D, with this. I know there's a lot of DSLRs to be considered like Canon 50D or Nikon D-whatever, but considering the budget this will be an option.

Excerpts from the preview, "by inheriting a number of key technologies from the higher-end EOS 50D and EOS 5D Mark II but packing them into a smaller, lighter and considerably cheaper body, the EOS 500D / T1i is likely to sell by the bucket-load. You're effectively getting the 50D's high resolution at a lower price-point, a beautiful VGA screen and while the 1080p mode may frustratingly only be at 20fps, the 720p / 30fps mode should still deliver great results that will also be easier to handle when editing.". Enjoy!
