Skimmerboi, just another slang word that refers to those who love to play skimboarding. It’s not as big as surfing, and we all know the stoke is always there but when you’re in the skimboarding community you’ll experience a different kind of fun, you’ll get to meet new friends and guaranteed to last. What this site offers is, Philippine skimboarding photos, more skimboarding photos, and I might cover different topics too on the blog. Skimmerboi aims to promote the sport or any board sports and to make people aware of its good benefits such as meeting new friends, get to visit beautiful places in the Philippines, get close to nature, and to stay fit, haha.=)

My name is Kristian Von Hocson, I’m a web developer, photo hobbyist and I love skimboarding, and welcome to my skimboarding/photography/portfolio site. I worked with some companies at Bangkok, Thailand 2 years ago, and currently, I’m base in Leyte, Philippines doing freelance jobs, and yeah, photography/skimboarding trips.

I’m passionate in capturing emotions, scenery, or fun stuff and put them in a piece of image called art. I love to travel and try different kinds of foods. I’m blessed to have a wonderful family. I believe in Jesus Christ.

About the Site

Well, I’m using Drupal, and did all the graphics and hand coded the XHTML and CSS, some JQuery and sIFR for headers. I chose these colours to give a warm feeling in this site I got the design concept from magazines, and some from my board shorts. I like clean websites but for my site I want it to be messy. I just love the fonts, I forgot their names but you can find them at dafonts.com.
